Workshop

WITH AN OPEN MIND

Peter Verkoeijen

In this workshop, you will be first introduced to a recent dual-process model of critical thinking. According to this model, critical thinking can be viewed as analytical engagement, which requires mindware, cognitive abilities, and dispositions. Need for cognition and active open-mindedness are crucial dispositions. The second, and largest, part of the workshop will focus on these two dispositions.
